Roofless

Started as Tesla Model 3

The world’s first fully roofless Model 3: the B-pillars gone, Autopilot kept.

Every other Model 3 convertible kept its B-pillars. Their builders said cutting them would ruin the car’s functions, and removing them entirely sounded insane. We removed them.

Autopilot kept

With the pillars gone, every camera, sensor and electronic unit they carried was moved and calibrated again. Autopilot and the electronic safety systems work as they did from the factory.

We had done it once before, on the Gullwing.

Outside

  • Paint with stripes that match the interior
  • Carbon fiber mirror shells, made in-house
  • Rotiform wheels with aerodynamic caps, redesigned for this car
  • Frame reinforcements, for safety and rigidity

The drive

  • Air suspension with two compressors, for comfort
  • Autopilot preserved and recalibrated
  • Every electronic safety system kept
